My name is Cici, a Contemporary artist from Indonesia residing in Germany who found the path outside traditional art education. My journey has been one of constant learning and experimenting with various medium and techniques.
My art is a reflections of personal experiences of how life change time to time, which includes learning, experience, strength.
Currently, I am focusing on the series “Faceless Portraits,” created using the impasto technique.

Why Abstract Portrait?

After a long search since moving to another country, I am slowly beginning to understand myself. Learn to find my identity—an ongoing process of adapting without losing the sense of familiarity and space that I feel comfortable. Life continues, and it continues to change.
The faceless portraits are not meant to represent any particular person. Instead, they embody emotions, identity, memories, silence, and many layers that make us who we are. Likewise, an unfinished face is interpreted as something inside us that continues to move.
The textures symbolize the layers of life—what we carry within us, what we forgive, what we heal, and what we continue to become.
